Our Objective
We are focused on providing the comfort of soft and flexible denim while still maintaining durability. We choose the best type of plastic to use for the best quality and feel for our customer satisfaction. We want to provide an eco-friendly alternative to traditional denim. We hope to make this more popular and have more companies doing this in order to have a decrease in plastic pollution and help preserve the planet.
Partnership with SURFRIDER
Our supplier, Surfrider, is a non-profit organization that works to protect and preserve the world's oceans, waves, and beaches. They supply us with recycled plastic bottles and we use it to make the types of denim needed for the jeans, bucket hats, and our masks. For every purchase you made, 5% of the profit made will go to Surfrider to continue helping them collect plastic waste and protect our beaches and ocean.
How we make our products?
We collect and sanitize bottles and other plastics first. We then proceed to shred the plastic into tiny pellets so it can be easier to be formed and change. It is then heated up so it can be bendable and stretchable. After that, we stretch into strings and weave with the other fabrics to create the fiber that we use without our products. Finally, we sow our products similar to everyone else so it still contains the benefits (comfort and quality) that are expected out of the typical jeans.
